September 16 2011
These tips can be for weekend workers or left for during the week.
Poetic Tip: While at work video Skype them throughout the day with love messages.
Romantic Tip: If your lover has a cubicle, being a bit sneaky and keeping the boss from finding out adds to the fun and romance between you two! If they don’t have a cubicle call them throughout the day and mention the many things you want from them later on.
Have their favourite drink chilled and waiting for them and enjoy the rest of the night…;-)
Until next week,
M xx

Poetry is not just confined to a pen and a piece of paper anymore, with the advancement of technology fingers and phones come into the picture hence this post. Here are your tips for this week:
Romantic Tip: Go to a romantic comedy film when it isn’t busy (usually during business hours on weekdays and before 11am on the weekends).
Poetic Tip: During the movie send sweet sms messages to your lover, about 1 every 15 minutes letting them know what is coming after ;-).
Enjoy until next week,

Romantic Tip: Make a hammock or buy one from Hammock Heaven ( tell them Mihad from Mihad Ali Creations sent you). Put some music on from a CD player or an Mp3 player since you will be outside and take it all in. Doing this just before sunset is magical and your partner will love it. Bring out snacks to much on, drinks and a light blanket or two and you are set.
Poetic Tip: Whisper anything you like in your partners ear. Anything you say can be made sexy if in a whisper. Try to think romance though, you don’t want to kill the mood or make it awkward.
Cost: $ Just the hammock. Not a bad price to pay for endless nights of romance huh?
Why to add to your nightly (or daily) pleasure why not like my Radiant Romance soy candles coming out soon. See you there.
Until next week lovers,

Royal Wedding Post
With the, wedding of the century ( some say) happening today I’d love to know what the most romantic gift or gesture you’ve gotten is that made you feel like a prince or princess.
Here are the romantic and poetic tips inspired by the wedding for this weekend-
Romantic Tip: Look through a recipe-book and try to make or buy your lovers favourite entree OR main meal and dessert from a restaurant they love and snuggle up and watch their favourite TV show or series of movies.
Poetic Tip: Choose a English poem to recite throughout the evening. Some great poets are Jane Austen, Emily Bronte or even William Shakespeare!
Until next week,

Friday 8th April
Another Friday, another romantic and poetic tip. Enjoy
What you will need: his/her favorite oil (not perfume), a bag of rose petals, candles and snacks (dips etc) you love
Romantic Tip: Do this about 10 minutes before you surprise your love so the water is still hot/very warm.
If you have either a pool or bathtub (some people don’t) this will work. Fill the bathtub (or pool) with hot water and her/his favorite oils. Add about 60 drops if you have a large pool and about 10 if using a bathtub. The steam from the heat will fill the area with the aroma of the oil. Then add the rose petals, they will float to the top. Light your candles and place them around the tub or surrounding the pool. Don’t forget to place your snacks nearby.
Poetic Tip: You can have some music playing lightly in the background. Personally I love jazz as it sets the mood very well and as jazz has a very poetic sound it would balance your romantic tip perfectly.
Until next week

Friday 18th March
I was watching Millionaire Matchmaker on television yesterday and on one of the dates the gentleman took his date to a pottery class as she loved art. I loved that he listened on the date an took her to something she loved.
Romantic Tip: Book a date and time at a pottery class. Your date doesn’t have to like art. It is a very sensual art, making ceramics, because your hands are all messy and sticky so it makes for a great date even if this is your first date or your 40th with your partner. You will no doubt have a fun time getting messy together.
Poetic Tip: Before you put your art in the oven to harden. Engrave a message to them into the pottery. When it comes out of the oven, they will fall in love with you even more! If this person is special, engrave your names and the date as well!
Until next time lovers,
M
March 11 2010
Last week I asked you to post romantic plans you’ve made and the budget. No one responded but I’d still like you to post if you like. You never know maybe you can help fellow romancers learn a thing or two!
Romantic Tip for this week: Learn to draw or paint and surprise your love with a romantic lesson for the two of you at home. This may seem difficult and a challenge but it can be fun if you make it! Lots of arts stores have simple, easy to follow books which will have you drawing or painting in no time! Don’t forget to buy all your supplies: easels, brushes etc $60.
After you’ve felt you’ve mastered it, blindfold them and bring them slowly by the hand into their art class. (Have all the paint and water or pencils and chalk out beforehand as well as newspaper covering the furniture and floor). Have drinks and whatever food you both love to nibble on out as well, $20. If you want to add more romance into your night: candles make anyone look fantastic! You can purchase them from the $2. Unscented ones are best because you don’t want them to mix in with the food.
Poetic Tip: Write a message that is hidden in the art either by using different colours or writing a small message in pen etc and present it to them and have them do the same. The sky is the limit.
Enjoy lovers, till next week,
Mihad
Feb 25th 2011
Romantic Tip: Take a photo you love of the both of you, go to a print store and have it blown up on canvas ( around $70 depending on size). It will take 4 days so make sure you leave some time for this surprise. Hang it somewhere you both love (not the bathroom as the water ruins the photo over time). Grab some sweet nibblies from the store for later.
Poetic Tip: For around $20 you can have a message printed on the canvas. They will remember you everytime they pass it.
Romantic Poetic Tip: When your loved one sees the effort you put into this let us just say that you will have a lovely evening….thank me later. :-)
Till next week lovers, M
Friday Feb 18th 2011
Romantic Tip: Take your love to a drive-in. Pack drinks of any kind, popcorn and some nibblies. If you can afford it buy some chocolate-covered strawberries ($50 for 24). If she/he is allergic to strawberries like me, you can buy yummy cupcakes instead.
Poetic Tip: When you have chosen the movie for the two of you, google some romantic lines from the film you like and write them down.
Romantic Poetic Tip: After your movie is over, take out your lines you wrote, bring you tone down to a whisper and one by one tell her/him the lines. After each line give them a bite of the strawberries/cupcakes and a kiss. Your romantic night will no doubt continue at home…
Enjoy!
Until next week, M
